These are a few of the common questions that our customers ask about Van Hoof Service.

Yes. We service light trucks, vans, SUVs and both new and vintage cars, and most domestic makes. Some of the makes we specialize in fixing include GMC, Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Mercury, Pontiac, Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile. We don't have the space to service larger trucks, but we may be able to recommend another repair shop. We offer a full range of services (link to services page) that includes just about everything except body work. We can tow your vehicle in if you can’t get it started or are in an accident.

Someone from Van Hoof Service will help you set up a time when you can drop the car off at our Van Hoof Service location, most likely in the morning. After reviewing the symptoms with you, we'll look over your car thoroughly to diagnose the problem, and call you with an estimate if you like.

After you drop off the car, we'll go through methodical steps to diagnose the problem. Once we know what's wrong, we'll determine an estimate and will give you a call. We'll explain all of your options and make a recommendation. As soon as you've decided which option is best for you, we'll order the parts and proceed with the repairs.

Depending on the scope of the repairs and the availability of parts, 90% of cars can be turned around in the same day. The sooner you return our call and give us the go ahead on the work, the sooner we'll be able to fix your car.

Van Hoof’s will tow your vehicle in, diagnose the problem, and call you with an estimate. As soon as you call us back we will proceed with the work and call you when it is ready.

Van Hoof Service is located at 179 Main Avenue, Kaukauna, WI. We are at the corner of Main and Second Street in downtown Kaukauna (next to the Pizza Hut). You'll see wreckers and flatbeds sitting around the brown and white building with parking area in front, on the street, and behind the building.
